Building gifted for police post

    New Delhi May 10 :
Residents of Pitampura, a West Delhi colony, today gifted a small building to the police for use as a police post.
    Built at a cost of Rs 25,000 through ‘voluntary contributions’ the house has running water, electricity, a stable for use of  
the mounted police, a kitchen and mess.
    Mrs Kiran Bedi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, West District said the police had been considering for some time the setting up of a police post in Pitampura which covers an area of five square kilometers.
