Punjab police for beat
box system

Impressed by the beat box system in the West Delhi district, the Punjab police have
sent an officer here to study it for adoption in the state.
Mr R.P. Joshi, Senior Superintendent of police, Faridkot
went round the West District on Sunday and discussed with a cross section of people and beat
constables the working of the system.
He told the station house officer, Tilak Nagar, that the
beat box system was revolutionary.
A beat box system was recently introduced in
Bhatinda.
